New Alauda P38 and Alauda PBY Versions

New Alauda P38 will be released on 31^st August 2026.

New Alauda PBY will be released on 30^th September 2026.

Alauda P38 Version 4.0

Alauda P38 version 4.0 is the next major release of the Alauda P38 applet. It will include all features present in Alauda P38 Applet, together with multiple new features and security enhancements. Such as:

• Key Attestation
• Inform Sending to the user
• In Applet activation flow
• Support for dynamic key allocation (multiple key pairs)
• Advanced protection against perturbation attacks
• Integration with Laverca KSP client

Alauda PBY Version 3.0

Alauda PBY version 3.0 is the next major release of the Alauda PBY SDK and Reference App. It will include all features present in Alauda PBY 2.0, together with multiple new features and security enhancements. Such as:

• Key Attestation
• Migrate App between phone
• Integration with PDF Signer SDK to allow in-App PDF Signing
• Flutter Support for SDKs
• Support for multiple Alauda PBY based implementations
• In Applet activation flow
• Integration with Laverca KSP client

For existing customers

Methics has a plan for :

1. New Applets for customers will be Alauda P38 4.0. When a customer is in process of ordering new SIM/eSIMs, Methics will create a custom applet package and ship the release.
2. Reference Apps for Alauda PBY app will be updated on Play Store and App Store
3. New Alauda PBY SDK repositories will be shared with customers through Github

Alauda P38 4.0 and Alauda PBY 3.0 passes all the same regression tests as earlier P38 and PBY version. Therefore, currently supported deployments will continue to run as normally.
