This summer Dr. Esa Kerttula published an article about the Finnish MSS called “A novel federated strong mobile signature service—The Finnish case“. Esa has studied Finnish national solution for using strong authentication for public services.
In his article, Esa “describes the legal framework, architecture with standards and signature services of the new public Finnish federated strong mobile signature scheme”. These topics comprehensively describe how Finland has built a great national online authentication system.
Methics helped Esa in his research, giving insight from an MSSP vendor’s perspective. Notably, Esa uses Methics’ performance tests to gather perspective about possible use-cases for MSS in Finland.
